Notes: New York & New Orange Railroad, 1899-1900; New Orange Four Junction Railroad, 1901-1904; Rahway Valley Railroad Co., 1905-1909; Rahway Valley Co., Lessee, 1909-1950. The years 1909 to 1916 were reported as fiscal years ended June 30. All other years were reported as year-end. Before 1920, Railway Tax Accruals and/or Fixed Charges and/or Other Deductions were sometimes accounted for under Operating Expenses. Other Income was not always reported seperately. 

*There was no reported income or expenditures from the operation of the railroad in 1898. The Central Railroad of New Jersey operated the railroad for the year and any profit or loss from operations were reported on their books.

**The income account for the first two months of 1909 was recorded with the Rahway Valley Railroad Co., the remaining ten months of 1909 were recorded with the Rahway Valley Co., Lessee.
